THE OBSERVATIONS OF SOL: 1The words of this tale cast a memory far back to days earlier than the mortality of our existing blood. We begin in the dank streets of a seventeenth century London town, the Stuarts had just returned to the throne following many years in exile. Far below their new reign, the streets lay foul with the excrement of a generation foraging in the gutter. A generation that gave off a stench so putrid that it became very difficult not to wretch every time you set foot down the cobbled streets. One such wretched soul lay dead in a doorway.
